EXHIBITION NEWS

Opening Night

17th May 2015

The World Within Walls exhibition was opened on Thursday, May 14th at 7:30pm in Monaghan County Museum by Minister for Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht Heather Humphreys TD. We were delighted with the turn out and the heart felt speeches given by the speakers at the opening. Many people who had been involved throughout the project came along and it was gratifying to hear that they were happy with how we had represented and displayed their stories, memories and artefacts.

This piece reflects the thoughts and images that come to mind when these people think about St. Davnet's. The imagery will be build into a glass wall which form part of the enterance to the exhibition.
